Stamping Molding

For thin, small-volume or large-volume metal parts, Precionn can provide optimal processing-stamping. We have stamping equipment of various tonnages, and our products cover built-in structural parts for consumer electronics, as well as automotive parts. Your inquiries are welcome.

What Is Stamping?

Stamping is a forming processing method that relies on presses and molds to apply external force to plates, strips, pipes and profiles to cause plastic deformation or separation, thereby obtaining workpieces (stamping parts) of the required shape and size.

According to the stamping processing temperature, it is divided into hot stamping and cold stamping. The former is suitable for processing sheets with high deformation resistance and poor plasticity; the latter is performed at room temperature and is a commonly used stamping method for thin plates.

Material Selection of Stamping Molding

One of the most commonly used stamping parts materials, common ones include SPCC, SPHC, SGCC, SAPH440, etc.

It has low density and good thermal and electrical conductivity. Common aluminum alloys include 5052, 5083, 6061, 7075, etc.

The density is smaller and has good strength and plasticity, but its chemical properties are relatively unstable. Common ones include AZ31, AZ61, etc.

It is corrosion-resistant and has high strength, but the cost is also high. Common ones include 301, 304, 316, 430, etc.

It has good electrical conductivity but poor formability. Common ones include C2680, C3604, etc.

Application Scope of Mold Stamping

  • Automotive industry: automotive engine systems, transmission and clutch systems, seat systems, interior decoration systems and other structural and functional parts.

  • Home appliance industry: The shells of refrigerators, washing machines, air conditioners and other products are all processed by stamping.

  • Consumer electronics: computers, some metal parts of mobile phones, battery covers, and built-in functional structural parts.
